Susan's portfolio Between has been selected by B&W Magazine as a 2008 Portfolio Contest Spotlight Winner and will be featured in the September Issue #61, which is available on newsstands in July 2008. Read article HERE
Susan is featured in the March/April issue of Camera Arts Magazine, the Spring issue of PDN EDU Magazine, the Spring Issue of SHOTS Magazine and was interviewed and featured on the front page of The Palm Springs Desert Sun Newspaper when she participated in The Palm Springs Photo Festival.
EXHIBITIONS:
Susan's work will be exhibited in the "Found At Fotofest" exhibition at the John Cleary Gallery in Houston, Texas. Opening reception is June 7th.
Susan will be part of a three person show also featuring Polly Chandler and Carol Watson at The Watson Studio Gallery in Johnson City, Texas. Opening reception is June 7th.
Susan's work will also be featured at The Third Annual Analog/Digital exhibition at The Irvine Fine Arts Center. Opening reception is June 21st from 5-7pm.
During the month of July, several of Susan's will be included in the "On Location" exhibition at Wall Space Gallery in Seattle, WA.
Six of Susan's prints will be exhibited at Spring Arts Collective Gallery during The Downtown LA Art Walk on August 14, 2008. Art walk hours are from 12-9pm. The gallery Reception is from 7-9pm. Susan will be in attendance at the reception.
WORKSHOPS:
Susan will be teaching the workshop "Visual Narratives" for Studio 528 in downtown Los Angeles. Dates to be announced. For updates and more information go to Studio 528.
Susan will be teaching a one day workshop on Dec 5th at The New Orleans Photo Alliance Gallery from 9am-3pm. The workshop, "Emerge" is offered in association with PhotoNola and is scheduled on the day before their two day reviews.
